Ingredient
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 2" piece ginger (grated)
  • 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

  • Freeze steak for 15 minutes; slice thinly then season with salt and pepper
  • Heat the oil in a pan over high heat and cook the steak until golden (about 3 minutes); transfer to a plate
  • Reduce heat to medium and add soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and apple cider vinegar; stir 30 seconds then add broccoli and let simmer until broccoli is cooked though and sauce is reduced by half, about 5 minutes
  • Add the beef back then cook until cooked, about 1 minute
  • Before serving, drizzling with sesame oil.
