This is a shredded chicken recipes that even the kids will like. This is slow cooker chicken noodles! It's easy to prepare and flavorful enough to eat with family for dinner.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 6 ounces each)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 ounces noodles (you can use rice noodles or more)
  • Chopped parsley

  • Mix chicken broth, orange juice, honey, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic cloves and ground ginger until well mixed
  • Add chicken and cook on low until tender, 3-4 hours
  • Wait until it is cold then shred the chicken; Set aside
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth then add the chicken and noodles
  • Cook and stir for 15 minutes until thickened and noodles are tender; Serve with parsley.
